Center for Asian American Media’s Year in Review
The Center for Asian American Media (formerly NAATA) conceived the Year in Review magazine as an annual report / newsletter for its membership of filmmakers, producers and supporters. 1is1 was brought into design the premiere issue, titled “Projecting Asian America.” The cover montage manages to look both heroic and whimsical, while the inner pages combine clean typography with motifs inspired by the filmmaking process — frames superimposed upon frames, a editor's ribbon of images, and the ever-present camera-people.
